Appointed Acting Serjeant from 3 November 1915, promoted Serjeant on 10 November 1917, Staff-Serjeant from 8 September 1918 and finally appointed Mechanist Staff-Serjeant : He served at home and with 905 Transport Company, Army Service Corps in Egypt and was Mentioned in Despatches - London Gazette of 15 June 1919 : Discharged at Woolwich on 14 June 1919.) : Also entitled to the British War Medal : Sold with verification and copy Service Papers NEF - £50
