Cheshire Regt.), correct style of impressed naming on both medals : (JOHN BROWN - Born in the Parish of Retford, Nottinghamshire around 1886, a butcher by trade at the date of attestation for the Cheshire Regiment, 4 April 1891 : Served at home until 11 December 1891 when the Regiment was posted to India : Returned home on 26 January 1899 and was transferred to the Army Reserve from 28 January 1899 : Reported 'Absent' and struck off from 11 August 1899 but rejoined the Reserve from 20 October 1899 : Mobilised and posted for service in South Africa from 7 January 1900.) : Sold with verification and copy Service Papers Toned EF - £245
