British War Medal; Victory Medal 1914-19 (8459 Dvr. RE.) : (FRANK EDWARD DOBBS - Born 6 August 1890 at Cirencester, a butchers shop manager residing at St Mary's Street, Monmouth, attested for the Royal Monmouth Royal Engineers on 11 December 1915. Married Josephine Sanders at The Parish Church, Monmouth on 3 June 1916. Embarked for France on 27 January 1917 and joined the unit in the field on 10 April of that year. Served with a Royal Engineers Field Company as Driver 388459 until 31 December 1918 when he returned to England and was discharged from the Army on 15 January 1919.) : Sold with verification, copy Service Papers, copy Marriage Certificate, copy photograph of recipient with his wife.
