GLOSSOP and Harrison, Chief and Assistant Accountants. Practically without assistance they have laboured indefatigably to clear up tangled arrears. In this connection Mr Harrison perhaps deserves special praise. Mr GLOSSOP has shown that he possesses two qualities, which I venture to submit mark him out as qualified for larger responsibility. He is jealous of the public expenditure, and shows anxiety on all occasions to check expenditure and to insist on adequate authority, and he has initiative by which he has effected several minor reforms and simplification of procedure without sacrifice of principles." : Listed on the Medal Roll dated 10 October 1902 with four other recipients, including Mr S.J.Harrison, as 'Accounts', where he is also shown as 'Deceased': He died on 13 September 1899 at Jebba, Nigeria.
