(Seaforth Highlanders) : (WILLIAM EVANS - Born London, around 1864 and is believed to have attested for the Seaforth Highlanders in 1887 : Served in the Hazara Campaign of 1888 and was transferred to Army Reserve in 1895 : Attested under Section D on 8 April 1896 and served in South Africa from 14 February 1900 until 27 March 1901 : Again transferred to Army Reserve but attested under Section D on 16 March 1904 : Discharged on termination of engagement from 15 March 1908 : Also entitled to Queen's South Africa Medal with clasps,'Cape Colony', 'Wittbergen' and 'South Africa 1901'.) : Sold with verification and some copy Service/Discharge Papers : Naming rubbed in places but still legible : Generally about VF - £220
