Battalion, Seaforth Highlanders and according to the published Casualty Roll, together with another soldier of the Battalion was KILLED IN ACTION at Fauresmith, on 16 October 1900 : The Medal Roll however gives his date of death as 19 October 1900 : Second Lieutenant P.G. Anstruther and three other Private soldiers of the Battalion are all shown on the Casualty Roll as severely wounded at Fauresmith on 19 October 1900, so it seems more likely that was the date on which the recipient was killed.) : Sold with verification and copy Casualty Roll - EF - £595
